What should I do if I cannot delete an eSIMfo eSIM on my Samsung Galaxy S22?

Some Samsung Galaxy S22 users have reported an issue where they could not delete the eSIMfo eSIM profile from their devices, or the SIM manager failed to load due to a software bug. This can be frustrating, but don't worry; workaround solutions are available to help you manage your eSIMs until Samsung releases a software update to fix the issue.

Check for Software Updates

If an update is available, please download and install it:

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Scroll down and tap Software update.
  3. Tap Download and install.

Remove/Add Physical SIM

This will force the SIM manager to reload:

  1. Insert the SIM ejector tool into the hole to eject the tray.
  2. Gently pull the tray out of the tray slot.
  3. Ensure there is a physical SIM in the tray.
  4. Insert the tray back into the tray slot.

Restart Your Device

A simple restart can solve many technical issues:

  1. Press and hold the Side key and the Volume down button at the same time.
  2. Tap Restart.
  3. Tap Restart again.

Reset Network Settings

This will reset all network settings, including Wi-Fi, Mobile data, and Bluetooth:

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Scroll down and tap General management.
  3. Tap Reset.
  4. Tap Reset network settings.
  5. Tap Reset settings to confirm.

If the eSIM deletion issue persists after following the workarounds above, please contact Samsung or your carrier, as the problem may be related to the device's software.
