I am receiving a “This code is no longer valid” error
This error message usually appears when you try to add an eSIM that has already been added or when the QR code is partially scanned due to a weak internet connection.
Verify if the eSIM is Installed
To check if your eSIM is already installed on your device, please follow these steps:
- Go to Settings.
- Go to the General section.
- Tap About and scroll down.
- If the eSIM is installed and active, you should be able to view the ICCID [NUMBER] + an extra digit under Cellular Plans, as long as the eSIM line is "On".
Important Note: Please remember that if you try to reinstall an eSIM that has been removed from the device, it will not be possible!
If You Receive the Error During First Installation
If you are installing the eSIM for the first time and receive this error message, it may be caused by a weak connection, an active VPN, or too many eSIMs installed on the device.
To successfully install your eSIM, please follow these steps:
- Disable all VPN applications.
- Ensure you have a good and stable internet connection.
- Remove any eSIMs that you will no longer use.
- Check if the software is updated to the latest version.
- Try installing the eSIM using a different installation method than the previous one.
